Change of bank account
To ensure that the CNS can promptly pay my reimbursements or any other benefits I am entitled to, I ensure that the CNS always has my correct bank or postal account details.
To receive my refunds, I am providing a current account number.
Savings accounts are no longer eligible for refund payments and can therefore no longer be accepted.
By post
I can also send my request by post to the following address:
Caisse nationale de santé
Coassurance et signalétique
L-2980 Luxembourg
(without Luxembourg postage)
I check that my bank identity statement is correct
A bank identity statement (relevé d'identité bancaire RIB) is an official document issued by my Luxembourg or foreign financial institution. It must include the name of the person wishing to change their bank details.
It usually takes the form of a certificate, but can also be issued in the form of a letter.
In all cases, the RIB or document must include the name of the account holder and the IBAN and BIC/SWIFT numbers of the bank account.
Important: I can't send a bank statement or a copy of my bank card - that's not enough!
In accordance with banking regulations, I must provide a current account number to receive my refunds.
Savings accounts can no longer be accepted because transfers to these accounts are automatically refused by banks.
