Beware of fraudulent text messages concerning your social security card!
Text messages are currently circulating claiming that your social security card has expired and urging you to renew it via a suspicious link. Do not click on this link. The CNS will never send you this type of message.
Renewing your social security card:
- Expired card: If your card has expired, you can renew it directly on the website of the Social Security Centre (CCSS).
- Card nearing expiry: If your card is still valid but is due to expire soon, you can request a new card via the CNS contact form.
Never click on suspicious links received via text message.
